Function Finding and the Creation of Numerical Constants in Gene Expression Programming Two Approaches to the Problem of Constant Creation   In this section the problem of constant creation is discussed by comparing the performance of two different algorithms. The first manipulates explicitly the numerical constants and the second solves the problem of constant creation in symbolic regression by creating constants from scratch or by inventing new ways of representing them.
